Even with all of the solved letters I still couldn’t see the answer. I’m sure many of you ran into the same problem that I did which is thinking email had a hyphen between the E and the M. Looking it up in the dictionary, both spellings are correct, so I guess we learn something new every day. Speaking of learning something new, while looking up email, I noticed that it’s first use in print was 1979. Some other words that first appeared in print that year are: BACKSLASH, CANOLA, DONE DEAL, DE-STRESS, FOOD COURT, HIP-HOP, LOG OUT, LYME DISEASE, PEPPER SPRAY, SUGAR SNAP PEA and my personal favorite, T&A!
