When I was growing up the word TONIC was used in lieu of ‘soda’ when referring to carbonated soft drinks. Technically, it was incorrect as TONIC contains quinine, which gives it it’s signature bitter flavor. Happy hump day everyone. On to tomorrow!

It amazes me that people dissect words that were used everyday in households years ago. Nowadays the younger generation has to try so hard to be politically correct. Let the old timers speak in the manner they want. There aren’t too many of us left 😡
