Wordle Answer for 12/01/2025 (#1626): LEACH

Today’s puzzle leaned into trickster mode, and it wanted patience more than flash. I opened with POUTY, which gave me nothing to celebrate but enough to steer away from dead zones. SWEAR lit the path with that golden A and whispered that the word was going to lean earthy. ALIVE finally cracked it open and confirmed the vowels were in rotation. BAGEL tightened the net and showed the consonant pattern was shifting toward something gritty. That lined everything up for LEACH, a word that feels rugged and raw and absolutely on brand for a December puzzle. Clean finish, steady escalation, and a reminder that sometimes the answer just drains into view.

Until tomorrow, may your day be BRIGHT and your mind stay SHARP!

This one won’t be one of my fastest of solves, that’s for sure. When NAIVE didn’t clinch it, I must’ve stared at the remaining tiles for about five minutes before the answer dawned on me. Enjoy your Sunday. On to tomorrow!
