A great opening word and a quick hunt for vowels made for my fastest solve of the week! Lately it seems I’ve been solving most of the puzzles in 4-tries so it felt nice to finally crack one in 3. I’d also like to take a moment to apologize to anyone searching for a ketchup stain on the guy’s shirt in the image above. Just by coincidence my pun play clashed with the model’s wardrobe. There was that sneaking suspicion in the back of my mind that THYME was going to be the answer. I guess it shows that you should trust your gut and go with your first instinct. On to tomorrow!

Not to sound like a broken record, but my opening word was stellar once again this morning. A 40% success rate is never a bad way to start off the day. I’ve never really studied ancient Greek letters so the image displayed above is an excellent visual representation of the 24 letters of their alphabet. On to tomorrow!

Our Wordle solution has a Z in it which is a peculiar way to start off a Monday. The letters Q, X, and Z are on my “don’t even bother with” list so my solve did take a few extra minutes to work through this morning. If my opening word, SLATE, has a success rate of >25% this week I’ll keep it around for a while. Enjoy your day everyone. On to tomorrow!

Pun Play: This one took no SKELETAL!
My Gameplay: AUDIO, TRAIN, CLEWS, BUMPY, TIBIA
A Sunday mess! My attempt at cleaning up some tiles near the end of the solve is what put me in position for the win. Bumping into the B made all the difference, and it was a showdown of mental gymnastics with the vowels to finish it off. I’m looking forward to Monday where I’ll be using SLATE as my opener. Yesterday in the comments section another Wordle player and I decided to give AUDIO a try as our opening word based upon an article I read that suggested it was a great starting word. All I can say is you must be AUDIO mind if you think I’ll be trying it again tomorrow! Actually, I think I will give it another shot. Why not, right? Anyone else is more than welcome to try with us. Everything sort of fell into place this morning so it wasn’t a big surprise that I solved it in four tries. Reading some websites online, they recommend AUDIO as an opening word. I think I’m going to give it a shot with the Friday Wordle just to see how it goes. On to tomorrow!
