What a lucky second guess — and nothing more! With 3 of the correct tiles uncovered in one guess, it only took a few seconds before I spotted the answer. No CORES for alarm here. Happy Thursday everyone. On to tomorrow!

My Gameplay: CREWS, BUNDT, SWEEP
In life, we all have to take out our trash. Sometimes it’s smelly, perhaps even rotten, but you never shed a tear. Because trash will always be trash. Have a wondrous Wednesday! On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: Since MENACE it a crime to fall out of love?

My Gameplay: GRAPH, WORSE, MILKY, SURLY
Checking out the etymology on our answer, it was first used roughly in 1570 and meant arrogant. Today, that definition is now obsolete with it now meaning menacing, threatening, or irritable in mood or manner.
Pun Play: Life was easy when he was FAULTING all the bills.

My Gameplay: SMILE, DRAFT, BLAME
My first guess put a big ol’ grin on my face. As you can see, I scored three letters right off the bat, and the E was in the correct position. I figured I only needed one more letter to solve the puzzle so my second guess was to use up some of the more common letters. The rest is history. Have a marvelous Monday everyone. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: Save WOMB for dad because he’ll be back soon.

My Gameplay: CRANE, SHORT, BIRTH
NORTH would’ve been my next guees, but I noticed I had tried the O in the previous solution. The -TH suffix produces a lot of words, so luckily BIRTH was the only guess I needed to take. Enjoy your Sunday. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: He didn’t MISSIVES sons first day of kindergarten like she did!

My Gameplay: CROWN, TAPES, HEADY, FILMY, EMAIL
Even with all of the solved letters I still couldn’t see the answer. I’m sure many of you ran into the same problem that I did which is thinking email had a hyphen between the E and the M. Looking it up in the dictionary, both spellings are correct, so I guess we learn something new every day. Speaking of learning something new, while looking up email, I noticed that it’s first use in print was 1979. Some other words that first appeared in print that year are: BACKSLASH, CANOLA, DONE DEAL, DE-STRESS, FOOD COURT, HIP-HOP, LOG OUT, LYME DISEASE, PEPPER SPRAY, SUGAR SNAP PEA and my personal favorite, T&A! Have a super Saturday everyone. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: Some people will do anything to PLEASURE buttons.

My Gameplay: SCARE, PRIED, LOWER, GRUEL, REBEL, REVEL
This solve seem like it went on forever. No matter what I tried, I just couldn’t get the solved tiles in their correct positions. Another factor in my delay was that there were two E’s in the solution and I was busy hunting for a consonant. Well, I can’t say Friday’s solve didn’t go out with a bang! TGIF everyone. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: Did DIRECT your plan for stealing all my money?

My Gameplay: CRANE, RIFLE, PURSE, THERE, WHERE
Double E’s made this Wordle a nice little challenge as we approach the end of the work week. I did struggle a bit coming up with words that end in E, but other than that, it was a pretty straightforward solve. While typing this up, the most interesting part was seeing the definition of the solution. It’s a word we use all the time, but it’s not the easiest to describe. I’m a dork and think those sorts of things are fascinating. May your Thursday be tantalizing. On two tomorrow!
Pun Play: They wouldn’t SCEPTER story in court because it was all a lie.

My Gameplay: PARTS, RAINY, ROWED, REACH, REGAL
This is what happens when I decide to change my starting word! And it seemed like it took forever to solve, too. CRANE would’ve gotten me further right from the start. What a PEASANT surprise that would’ve been. Oh well. Have a wicked awesome Wednesday everyone! On to tomorrow!
I had a bit of trouble getting this one started. I saddle long time and stared at the remaining letters after my second guess and thought TORSO was the answer, but failed to realize I had already used the O so it didn’t pan out so well. I’m sure HORSE is a starting word for many players out there as it distrbutes vowels and consonants nicely. If you had trouble, I hope it didn’t drive you RODEO mind. Enjoy your Tuesday. On to tomorrow!
