I couldn’t guess the third letter for the life of me! The most frustrating part was having it pretty much solved on the third try, but not being able to nail it down. At least it’s completed and now in the books. On to tomorrow!

My first instinct after the second guess was WOUND. Having played the N in DRONE, I knew it was a no-go. For some reason I couldn’t get that stinky W out of my head and I kept trying to think of words that would fit. I finally got frustrated and played SHUCK, with the C being my my key to victory.
