My streak of 4-guess solves has indeed continued into the weekend! When I saw the answer the first image that came to mind was that of someone sleeping. A little thinking conjured up an image of someone setting a goal for themselves. The image I chose for today’s graphic was neither of the two for whatever reason. With an O somewhere in the puzzle and a P in the correct position, there weren’t too many words that CAME to mind other than PILOT and PLONK. Luckily I had used the L in my previous guess so no PHOTO finish here. It looks like my streak of 4-guess solves continues into the weekend. That’s A-ok with me. TGIF everyone. On to tomorrow!

I’m telling you all right now that SLATE is the ultimate starting word! I’ve never had such good luck with any other opener. It’s unstoppable! When it came time for my final guess, there was only one word that I could think of that was viable so I didn’t have to choose between two or more like I have been for the past few days.
