It took a bit of staring and a ton of mental gymnastics for me to come up with the answer. Apparently the “I before E except after C” spelling rule doesn’t apply with our solution. Interesting. On to tomorrow!

Pun Play: They SHED make these puzzles harder!

It was difficult coming up with the answer when SHAME had my solved letters spaced just enough apart that several consonant variations could be used to make valid words. I always cringe when my solve goes that way. Luckily I was able to see it through in 5-guesses whereas in my mind I was expecting it to take six. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday while it lasts. Double letters again for the second day in a row! Going into the weekend it’s usually a tad bit easier to solve, but today we found ourselves toiling over the two C’s. It’s not a letter that’s typically used in any of my starting words so it took until the third guess to find. And truth be told, CLOUD was a complete guess as I couldn’t think of any other words to try so luck seems to be on my side today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone. On to tomorrow!

Not the easiest solve for me today, especially since there was a Q in the layout. It was interesting how I managed to get four of the five letters in the first two tries but couldn’t come up with the rest of it for two more. I guess that’s how it goes sometimes. On to tomorrow!

Happy hump day everyone! Today’s puzzle was a clever one that had me going around in circles all up until the end. I was a little lost when it came to choosing an image that best represents the solution. The one I chose is from Wikipedia and I won’t bore you with the details of what it is. On to tomorrow!

Our second “V” word in only a couple of days. After my second guess, I had the majority of the letters but couldn’t come up with anything. Instead of putting it down and coming back to it, I decided to force myself to plow through it and try PLOYS to gobble up some letters. I’d like to think I would’ve gotten it had I chose the former option. On to tomorrow!

My trio of triumphant-ness — R, S, and respectively T, were nowhere to be found today which cut into my solve time. It seemed like no matter what I guessed, nothing seemed to stick.
