My Gameplay: PLANK, NOTED, NEEDS, NEEDY
Four guesses is my safe zone so it wasn’t a remarkable solve by any stretch. Average at best. Friday is coming up and my hope is to conquer it in three. Here’s hoping you had all had a fantastic finish! On to tomorrow!

My Gameplay: TIRES, POUND, BONEY, CLAWS, WOMEN, WOVEN
This felt like the puzzle that would never end! Luckily, I had an extra guess after WOMEN didn’t pan out so I was able to finish it off. On to tomorrow!
How ironic was it that my attempt at a letter eliminator didn’t garner a single tile. And the word? CHUMP! But. . . I finished it off after some mental gymnastics with the remaining letters. Who’s the chump now? On to tomorrow!

My Gameplay: PEACE, THROW, TWICE
More interesting than blabbing on about the intricacies into my thought process while solving the puzzle is the etymology of our answer. TWICE is Old English for twies which is defined as “two times, on two occasions, in two instances.” After a long day of cleaning and visiting family, it took a few moments to process the definition. There was something peculiar about it yet I couldn’t place my finger on it. And then it dawned on me after a few more attempts. Why is the definition for TWICE explained in thrice?? Two question marks seems quite fitting. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: My mind was OLIVER the place trying to solve it!

My Gameplay: PEACE, MOLTS, LEVIN, BULLY, ELUDE, GRUEL
My solve today perfectly illustrates what NOT to do when playing the Wordle — chasing letters! The E and L had meal over the place in a hunt for green. On to tomorrow!
Surprisingly enough, the P came right off the bat for me. No complaints here! When I think of the word POKER, the iron bar used to tend fire is what came to mind. My inkling was that many would prefer a photo of the card game instead. I’m more of an old-fashioned type of guy. Do you enjoy the enlarged font size? —M
