COYLY
Pun Play: What took CUTE so long to solve it?

My Gameplay: PEACE, BLIND, HOURS, COYLY
Did you have your thinking cap on this morning? I just happened to notice the Y hadn’t been played so I doubled it up. On to tomorrow!

My Gameplay: PEACE, BLIND, HOURS, COYLY
Did you have your thinking cap on this morning? I just happened to notice the Y hadn’t been played so I doubled it up. On to tomorrow!
QUART
Pun Play: Will not solving it MEASURE day up?

My Gameplay: PEACE, FLAWS, BRAND, MOUTH, QUART
My suggestion for today is aimed at those of you that don’t care all too much about your score. If you’re getting near the end of your game and you see a playable word in the remaining letters, go ahead and play it to eliminate a bunch of letters. If you look at my gameplay above, I located the A and R in the first three words and saw MOUTH remaining so I gave it a whirl. Got lucky and the rest is history. On to tomorrow!
CRAMP
Pun Play: What the ACHE is going on here?

My Gameplay: SWAMP, TRAMP, CRAMP
Whether you call it a kink, twinge or crick, having a CRAMP can be an excruciatingly painful experience. Years ago, I was getting them in my thigh on a recurring basis and my leg would ache for days. And then I found out about bananas being rich in potassium and haven’t had an episode since. Nature has her way of curing all of our ailments. The problem is that she’s been around for so long and our science hasn’t! I’m sure you catch my drift. On to tomorrow!
BLUFF
Pun Play: It finally CLAIM to me in the end…..

My Gameplay: AROMA, TWIGS, CHEEK, PULLY, FLUFF, BLUFF
Not turning over one green or yellow tile until the fourth guess is definitely a new record for me. You’re all welcome to go back and read every single one of my posts if you’d like to fact check my statement (😉). For a moment there I thought we were going to have a triple repeating letter when FLUFF was all I could think of. Are you ready for the next one? Me too. On to tomorrow!
UPSET
Pun Play: Are you going to eat DISORDER slice of pizza?

My Gameplay: SWEAT, TREES, HOUND, CLIMB, UPSET
Now that was some mental gymnastics if I do say so myself! There weren’t any repeating letters, but that didn’t stop me from trying to double up the EE’s in TREES. TGIF everyone. On to tomorrow!
STOMP
Pun Play: Did getting the solution cause you fear and TREAD?

My Gameplay: SWEAT, STORK, STOOD, STOMP
What a surprise it was to find out there were no duplicating letters in today’s puzzle. As you can see above, I did try doubling the O’s in STOOD but it didn’t work out all that well. Sometimes I find it’s harder to solve for the solution when you locate the first few letters because it leaves in play too many consonants. On to tomorrow!
MOTTO
Pun Play: I hope you weren’t left SLOGAN it out!

My Gameplay: SWEAT, CLOTH, FORTY, MOTTO
Good Wednesday morning everyone! I was sort of surprised when I used up most of the common letters and nothing substantial turned up. And how ironic was it that I mentioned just yesterday we had double letters in the past two puzzles and now there were two sets in today’s. Well, I actually followed my own advice this time and picked up on it. Let us know how it worked out for you in the comments down below. On to tomorrow!
CINCH
Pun Play: Did you REFUSE to give up?

My Gameplay: SWEAT, FLOCK, BIRCH, PINCH, CINCH
Good morning everyone! When I landed on FLOCK, the location of the C clued me in that the solution would most likely involve a CH suffix. The rest of the answer flowed quite easily after that. We did have repeating E’s yesterday and C’s today. Just a friendly reminder to keep it in mind while playing #403. On to tomorrow!
ELOPE
Pun Play: Were you seeing WED?

My Gameplay: SWEAT, CREEK, ELOPE
I had to look back to check and see if I had used ELOPE as a starter word before. Turns out I didn’t, but I could’ve sworn I had. Have a great day everyone. On to tomorrow!
POWER
Pun Play: WATT a breeze this was!

My Gameplay: SWEAT, POWER
The 400’s are here and I’m off to a great start. There were a couple of puzzles last week that gave me a run for my money so it was a nice surprise to see all the letters of my guess turn up at once. On to tomorrow!
