I’ve exacted my revenge… and oh, how sweet it was! TRUCK may have been a jalopy in the clue-letter department, but it sure did eliminate a lot of letters which made the solution much easier to find. For me at least. The weekend is almost upon us. Make the most of every second! And as always, on to tomorrow.

Why won’t the Wordle God’s let me have a 2-guess win? Just look at my gameplay above and tell me you wouldn’t be frustrated if you were in my shoes. It’s almost a bizarre repeat of yesterday where I was searching for the first letter of the layout to complete CREAK and today I was looking for the last letter. It’s one of those solves where if Momsie where here I’d ask her to pass me her bottle. She’d say “No!” but I’d still ask anyway…. On to tomorrow folks! 😉

Not to be confused with a CREEK that’s a stream of water! There was a lot of water flowing during my attempt at today’s solve. It took 4 tries to nail the first letter. I now need to add tissues to my shopping list! Hopefully Momsie had an easier time with it. Until tomorrow!

Now why didn’t I go ahead and try MOLAR first??? Because that’s just my luck, that’s why! It was no trouble at all with the M & R in their correct spots and O & A in the puzzle but not lined up right. On an aside for those interested, I had a brief tête-à-tête with Momsie this afternoon. She went on about the puzzle solutions being too hard recently. She does text a completed image of her puzzle without fail and she always seems to do pretty well. Maybe if she worked as hard on the puzzle as she did throwing back her dirty martini’s I’d have more sympathy for her. On to tomorrow!
ATOLL

For some strange reason I just knew there’d be double letters today. When the double A’s of PANDA didn’t pan out, I had the bright idea (after about 20 minutes mind you) to double up the L’s. I’m beat. Happy Memorial Day everyone. Let us never forget those who fell to preserve the light of freedom.

If I had to think of one more –EPT word I would’ve gone crazy! I’d have to look back to be sure, but I think this is the most letters and correct placement of them in my opening guess. Enjoy the weekend!
TIARA

How I came up with TIARA with just an AR coupled together near the end of the layout is beyond me. But I’ll gladly take a quick gimme because it’s been a long day. Momsie should be coming to my Memorial Day barbecue on Sunday if the weather is good. If it’s raining, I’m sure she’ll bring one of those mini umbrellas to keep her drink dry. I’m not joking. Enjoy the long weekend and remember to pay your respects to those who sacrificed all. Be safe and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do….

This is the second day in a row that I’ve taken my solve all the way to the end and I couldn’t be more frustrated! If for some godforsaken reason I hit the trifecta tomorrow, I think I’ll give momsie a call and have her pull out a spare glass from the cupboard! Be well and enjoy your Thursday.
