When I think of the word album my mind immediately goes to a record, but then I got to thinking that an album could also mean a photo album. Can you think of any others? I’m sure there are more of them but that’s all that comes to mind. Enjoy the day and happy trails!

I tried something altogether different to start off my week. Instead of trying to make words with the letters that have been successfully solved, I decided to play 3 words with (mostly) different letters to see if I’d bump into more solved letters. Does that make sense? And then from those solved letters I made words from the remaining available letters which made it easier to find letter combinations. Geesh, I sure hope I’m explaining it correctly. Momsie will sure need to sober up to understand what’s going on. Those darn weekends are too short! Take care and I’ll catch you right

MY GAMEPLAY: SLIDE, BREAK, HEFTY, MONEY
It made absolutely perfect sense — after 16 minutes and 44 seconds of thinking about it! My luck over the past couple of days seems to be eliminating a ton of non-useable letters at the start and finishing off with a handful of letters that only a few words can seemingly be made from. Solving it that way isn’t my cup of tea — or one of Momsie’s dirty martini’s for that matter. So frustrating……… Oh well, enjoy your Sunday!

Just in the nick of time — PHEW! The real kicker was that it wasn’t even really a tough word to guess. Well, at least this player doesn’t think so. In retrospect, my hang up was that I got stuck in a pattern where L, A & S were solved in the correct spots but there were wayyyyyyyy too many other words that could be constructed from the remaining letters. Momsie is going to get a real hoot out of this answer. OLIVE her to death, but if her favorite martini glass should break some day I’m afraid so will her heart. Maybe I’ll call her later and let her know that she SHARD invest in a backup…. Until tomorrow!

VISUAL DESCRIPTION: I WASH this puzzle lasted a bit longer!
MY GAMEPLAY: SWAMP, STYLE, SCOUR
Puzzle number 333 was pretty darn good to me! My first two guesses eliminated 9-letters which is 1/3 of the alphabet. I didn’t have too many letters left over so SCOUR sort of popped out at me. Oh how I love when that happens! Be well and enjoy the day.

The clue letters from my guesses couldn’t have been in more perfect spots to clue me into the answer. As soon as I saw the B, the N out back got me to thinking about an -ING suffix. BOING and BEING were my only two guesses and I’m sure glad my mind works in alphabetical order! I bet you all are thinking “How’d Momsie do?” Well, I’m pleased to report that she breezed through yesterday’s answer of DELVE just about as easily as I did. Her slurring of each individual letter as she spelled out the answer for me? Ya, that took a little while longer….. Until tomorrow, be well and take care.

How I thought of DELVE from the L & E of PLANE is beyond me! I was in shock as all of the tiles turned green and I sat on my couch in disbelief for a minute or so. My next thought was how in the heck is anyone going to believe me? Momsie will be so elated to hear of my good fortune that she’ll probably want to celebrate. She really does have a hard time of letting go of the weekend. Until tomorrow!
YIELD
VISUAL DESCRIPTION: There’s nothing like a SEDAN bout of fright!
MY GAMEPLAY: LEMUR, PLEAS, CHEWY, YIELD
I didn’t think I’d be able to solve it for a few seconds there! Whenever I see an -LY, I immediately think that it’ll be an -LY suffix producing an adverb. It was a downward spiral of despair when CHEWY showed the Y in in the wrong spot. But it’s Sunday so an extended gameplay is most welcome. I should give momsie a ring and see how she did but it’s 4 o’clock and I don’t want to ruin her dinner. I’m not sure how someone could spoil a liquid dinner but I’m not about to try.
