My Gameplay: ADIEU, POUTS, FLOUR, GHOUL
Similarly to yesterday’s solve, my second guess really came through for me. I think the whole thing took abour 5 seconds. Enjoy your Sunday. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: She started acting foolish, ANNOY left immediately.

My Gameplay: ADIEU, BROTH, ANGER
My opening word was aces. With more than half of the solution solved by the third try, it didn’t take much effort to finish it off. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone. On to tomorrow!

My Gameplay: ADIEU, POUTS, CLUMP, GUPPY
By may third guess, I had tried all the vowels and had a sneaking suspicion Y would be at the end of the layout. When I couldn’t make any words with the leftover tiles, doubling up the P’s did the trick, and I saw the solution clear as day. The etymology on this word is rather unique. GUPPY came into use in 1918 when they became popular as aquarium fish. They get their name from their scientific name (Girardinus guppii), which honored R.J.L. Guppy, a British-born clergyman, who supplied the first specimen to the British Museum. Happy Thursday to one and all. On to tomorrow!

My Gameplay: ADIEU, DREAD, CHOWS, HORDE
Luck was on my side when it came to choosing clue words. I had all of the letters for the solve by the third guess, but I had trouble piecing it together. It’s not an uncommon word, but solving an anagram of it was quite a feat. At least for me it was. Happy hump day to one and all. On to tomorrow!
Originally, I thought this word meant someone who was or is very sad, and was quite surprised to learn that it’s actually a form of transportation. I don’t think I’ll ever have a chance to use it in a sentence, but now I’ll feel smart if I do. Happy Tuesday everyone. On to tomorrow!
There weren’t too many letters left by my fourth guess, so there weren’t too many words to choose from. It’s two more guesses than I like to make, but it’s Monday, so it’ll have to do. Have a great start to your week everyone. On to tomorrow!
My secret to this solve was choosing the most “absurd” word I could think of. When I locked eyes on the ‘Z’, I knew I had it in the bag. Wishing everyone a lazy Sunday full of happiness and good health. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: I don’t see how CANOPY any better than this!

My Gameplay: ADIEU, READY, CEDAR
This solve took me forever! I mean, I had four of the clue letters solved by the second guess, I just couldn’t come up with any words to try. My method of trying each letter took some extra effort, but it got the job done in the end. Happy Saturday everyone. On to tomorrow!
Pun Play: You can only SPAN so much time with a loser.

My Gameplay: ADIEU, PAINS, CORKY, CIRCA
I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been able to solve this if I hadn’t randomly tried tried CORKY when I couldn’t think of anything else. It was a heck of a guess too as it gave me two letters in their proper spots. You can’t ask for more than that when you’re feeling down and out. TGIF everyone — you made it. On to tomorrow!
