I haven’t taken the puzzle down to the last guess in what seems like forever, and it sure lets you know you’re human! This one felt like it took an eternity to solve. I had most of the letters on my second guess but I just couldn’t think of a word that would get them in order. It’s Sunday, so I’m not going to let it ruin my day. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. On to tomorrow!

My Gameplay: ADIEU, TRIED, THIEF

ADIEU worked out really well again this morning! Getting the vowels of the solution lined up from the start was what made the solve a piece of cake for me. For a Friday, it wasn’t much of a challenge. QUALM was my hardest solve so far this week. TGIF everyone. On to tomorrow!

BORAX

My Gameplay: CHATS, ALIVE, MARRY, BORAX

The only thought going through my head during the solve was either the solution contained double letters or unique letters because my first three tries only gave me two letters. I’m still not quite sure how I came up with the answer, so somtimes I even impress myself. You made it to hump day. On to tomorrow!

QUALM

DEFINITION — ETYMOLOGY

Pun Play: NERVOUS is what happens when you act like a child!

My Gameplay: TRASH, FLAME, REALM, QUALM

The order in which I discovered the tiles is what really threw me off today. I couldn’t think of any other word than REALM, and I had already used the R & E! Luckily, the letters fell neatly into place and I was home free. On to tomorrow!

Well, I decided to change my opening word this morning, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. By my second guess I had over half of the solution, and it didn’t take too long to figure out the other couple of tiles. Have a great start to your week everyone. On two tomorrow!
