Pun Play: There wasn’t MUSHY could do other than admit she’s a failure!
My Gameplay: SLATE, SMOKY, SORRY, SOUPY, SOGGY
That’s a lot of “S” words for a day of the week beginning with a “T.” My third guess gave me the S & Y in their correct positions, but the O being yellow made it impossible for my brain to place. SOGGY was my next guess after SORRY, but I switched it to SOUPY at the last moment to chew up a couple of tiles instead of a single “G”. I should’ve SOGGY writing on the wall and trusted my first instinct. Oh well! On to tomorrow!
